Arizona hell: 2.30 a gallon.
$1.95 here.
Here in NY I am paying $2.05. Not too bad compared to some of you. Now lets see how my home country is doing (holland)
1 gallon is 3.785 liters
1 liter of regular in Holland is 1.299 Euros.
1.299 Euros is $1.56 at current exchang rate.
so 1 liter is $1.56!
x 3.785 = $5.90 for 1 gallon.
I think I'll stay here in the states!
Here in South Africa it's R4,15 a liter, so it's about 0.80 Us cents a liter...
But 4 Rands is still alot of money, considering the average salary of the middle class is only between 2800 to 3500 Rand net...
Too boot here our public transport is dangerous and non existing, meaning if you don't have a car its very hard with a mega highway system to get around...
Although we got the biggest shock this week, becuase our petrol price will increase up to R5,15 a liter in July, because we have to raise funds for the world Cup...
That's a 20% mark up!!! Somewho I don't think it's all bad there in the US...

Stations here are about $2.08 - $2.13 a gallon and it's KILLING me since I drive right about 99 miles a DAY.
Good thing I've got my little Saturn that gets about 20mpg doing smash and stomp driving (that's my version of stop and go. Smash the gas, stomp the brake. Get to 40 and back to 0 in a span of 10 yards)
Needless to say my 'fun' gas chugging toys are garaged and not moving till prices come down some, and I hope it's soon (although I doubt it will be)
I don't remember the latest..last time I put gas in it was about $2.49 or something..all I know is
I had a real painful time sitting back down in my car.
1.89 - 1.93 around NJ.
mine just went up to $2.39 this afternoon.
that kills me... they haven't even gotten a new fucking tank yet, and the price in the ground goes up.
BASTARDS.
$2.15 a gallon here. But after living in Europe for a few years, it's nothing. We Americans do have it better than most in regards to gas prices. I vividly remember paying upwards of $4/gallon in Europe a few years ago. So, until the prices exceed $3/gallon I won't bitch, too much, lol.
